Born in Los Angeles, California, raised in Chicago, Illinois by her father LeRoy Webster, from age 3. Returning to California at age 12 to make a name for her self as a model/actor.  Her big break finally came in 1980, when she appeared on the TV show Cagney and Lacy as well as appearances on several other sitcoms. Today, Carla is an Author, Motivational Coach, Real Estate Investor, Screen Play Writer, Actor, Wife and Mother of 6. Her credits go on and on with her involvement in the community as well as in the film industry. Her first book “After the Abuse I’m Still Here” being that of her on real life experiences, struggles, and survival from rape, and molestation, was another breaking point for her to be free, and express her self and share her many gifts and talents with the world.  Carla, since has written several best sellers, such as, Mr. Wonderful the novel - The Need for Wealth, The Seed for Money, & The Greed for Cash – Unconditional Love – Who is Carla Carter – as well as Co-Author of Hell No. Her work continues on. Now hosting her very own talk show where again Lady Carla is challenging and changing peoples lives.

Carla’s latest project is The Carla Carter Show and Mr. Wonderful the movie, based on the novel Mr. Wonderful. She says, this is the most exciting thing that she has ever done in her life. Bridging the gap in film, bringing a spiritual awareness to people who may not ever bark upon the doors of the traditional or non-traditional church.  She brings uncut, in your face, scared to talk about truths, to the surface, she introduces to some and invites others to participate in this life changing experience with her and the phenomenal hand picked cast. Doing something that has never been done before at this magnitude, she says, “I was made for this and this was made for me. I’m tired of playing church and so is the world.”

She is a 1988 graduate of Cottonwood School of Ministry majoring in communication and etiquette, with a minor in business. Carla continued her education and has her degree in business and marketing. She is also a member of the NAACP, NAFE, Founder and President of NAFI (The National Association for Female Investors) as well as Overseer of The Shepherds Inn, located in Denham Springs, LA. and  Lake Mathews, California, a place for wounded, and hurting people seeking restoration and direction.  She has been keeping busy with book signing projects, encouraging our daughters through speaking engagements, and other public support helps like; The Shepherds Inn Foundation, which is a Hurricane Katrina Relief Project to help rebuild the lives of the victims of New Orleans, working closely with city officials as well as the clergy in the Baton Rouge area. Carla says, “We can rebuild, one family at a time.”

Every women should receive some very basic ideas on how to conduct themselves in business as a women. How to relate to money in the arena of men. She will have the courage to ask for money that is due her company. She will be encouraged in various areas regarding business relationships and how to maintain them. How does one know who is good for you and who isn't. How do we know who to trust? These and questions and so many more will be answered in this talk.
