Meet Doris Roper,

Planning with a World of Experience

Born in Vienna, Austria, Doris Roper grew up in South Africa where at the age of 23, she started and built a very successful jewelry business. She managed it for 19 years while raising two children on her own after a very difficult   divorce. During those years, she developed excellent money management and investment skills.

Doris eventually sold her business and left South Africa to travel. It was during her stay in CA that she met the wonderful man who became her husband.

Making the decision to become a financial advisor and planner came very easily to Doris. With her own personal financial management success, it felt like a natural fit.

As soon as it was practically possible, she started to focus on the area where her true passion lay, namely, working with women to build a solid financial foundation after a life-changing transition.

After researching and interviewing female clients, friends, acquaintances, and professionals, she found that a large percentage of women did not feel competent and smart when it came to managing finances and investments.

As a result of her findings, and understanding the issues women faced from her own personal experience, Doris created The Empowerment Circle, an organization for women to master life and finances in a confidential and supportive environment.

Doris is a senior partner of Chapman, Roper & Breslin, LLC, Wealth Management, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Certified Senior Advisor, trained Divorce Mediator and LPL Registered Principal. She is the owner of Roper Financial Planning, a Registered Investment Advisor.
