Meet Fannie Green

Fannie  Green, Community Activist and Travel Consultant

My real love has always been working with youth. Since 1971 my husband Sam and I have been involved with the Perris Valley Optimist Club, sponsoring the “Games for the Handicapped,” celebrating it’s 14th year of existance.

I am a Charter member of the For You Network Corona, where I serve as treasurer. Over the years I volunteered for many different committees.

Through For You Network I learned who I am as a person and have grown very much.  I have learned that I can stand in front of a room and speak, and voice my own thoughts and ideas. I have blossomed as a person, made long lasting friends, been amazed at the awards I have won and places that I have "SHOWED UP". It has truly been a big adventure and it is only just beginning. 

My every day job is working for the County of Riverside, in Riverside, CA. I will be retiring in two years but I’m already planning for my future. My husband Sam and I are referring travel agents in our travel business “Sam-Fan Global Travel.” 

Some of my hobbies are fishing and gardening. I am also a member of Toastmaster so I learn to be a better speaker.  Who knows where that will take me.  I have learned to be open, take chances, experience life, and have fun.  I truly enjoy being Fannie Green, a wonderful, caring and dynamic person, I discovered in my journey with the For You Network.
