We are the only Artisan Chocolate Studio & Cafe located in beautiful Laguna Niguel, California. Tracey Downey opened our cafe with the goal of creating not only the freshest chocolates, but a place that is an experience. At Downey’s Chocolates you can watch the Chocolatiers crafting the chocolates in the open kitchen; but the experience doesn’t end there! You can refresh with our fabulous gelato, indulge in a freshly made Brittany Style Crepe or recharge at our Espresso Bar. Come and relax while you enjoy one of the many delicacies from the café menu. We are unique… Each handcrafted chocolate is distinct in its character because of the attention we give to every detail, we custom blend Belgian and French chocolates to create our own proprietary couverture. We diligently seek out the finest ingredients available from all over the world, we use Vietnamese, Ceylon and Korintje cinnamons, Tahitian and Bourbon vanilla beans, the ripest fruits and freshest herbs and the same essences used by competition-winning pastry chefs. Unlike the mass manufacturers, Downey’s Chocolates is an Artisan Chocolatier. We produce small batches frequently to ensure the freshest chocolates, never adulterating our chocolates with preservatives or additives and NEVER freezing our end product. You will immediately taste the difference. |
